Billing and Payroll Associate
Join a top employer and advance your career. Aplin has partnered with a Winnipeg-based company to hire a Billing and Payroll Associate for an immediate temporary-to-hire opportunity.  In this role as Billing & Payroll Associate, you would be reporting to the Billing Supervisor. 

Perks & Benefits:Immediate employment Temporary to hire opportunity Opportunity to work remotely once trained on site, must be located in Winnipeg Responsibilities:Accurate and timely invoicing of accounts billed, and accurate and timely payroll for company drivers and owner-operatorsRate and invoice customers, as well as, rate and approve payroll for driversEnsure all billing and reporting deadlines are metProduce monthly revenue accrual for assigned accountsApply payroll rules from several different collective agreements and owner-operator contracts, to pay company drivers bi-weekly and owner-operators semi-monthlyMaintain a good working relationship with customers and staffAccurate and timely invoicing of assigned accountsInvestigate and resolve open ordersPerform duties while maintaining appropriate costs, quality standards, and agreed-upon customer service, timelines, and requirementsPerform duties in accordance with sector-specific regulations, corporate timelines, performance standards, and workplace safety and health policies and proceduresQualifications:Requires a general understanding of automated bookkeeping methods, techniques, and basic accounting principlesMust become proficient in utilizing transportation management system for billing and other related accounting functionsHas a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent relevant work experiencePost-secondary education in the accounting field is preferred, but not requiredNo formal certification requiredTransportation experience as an assetAR and payroll experience an asset
