You will accurately bill patient accounts, follow up on accounts which have been billed, and post payments when received. You will remain current on all reimbursement terms/conditions, departmental procedures and applicable regulations. Effectively use your customer service skills and professionalism by responding to inquiries from patients regarding bills, statements and insurance coverage.

Position: Billing/AR Representative
Shift: dayshift 

Experience:
1. One to three years billing experience and/or accounts receivable experience utilizing automated patient accounting systems preferred.
2. Experience with Microsoft applications.
3. Knowledge of insurance contracts, regulations, and medical terminology preferred.
4. Knowledge of HCPCS/CPT, ICD9, and revenue codes preferred.
5. Good written/oral communications and problem solving skills required.
6. Strong analytical, mathematical and organizational skills required.

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
