The Billing and Assignments Coordinator consolidates all incoming housing applications, all housing requests from current residents and associated billing to provide consistent, streamlined service to both internal and external customers.
Coordinate and facilitate work of residence life assignments process to make housing assignments for incoming students and coordinate assignments of current/returning residents. Included in this task is communicating with students, parents and university departments regarding housing assignments.Process all applicable billing for Residence Life, including room fees, meal plans, room changes and damages. Process, review, and manage all housing accommodation requests received as well as make recommendations to the Associate Dean of Community Living and Housing on the availability and possibility of requested accommodation. This includes communicate with the Office of Accessibility Services about the status of requests.Serve as liaison between the Office Residence Life and Student Financial Services, Admissions, Registrar, Accessibility Services, Bridges to Belmont, Athletics, International Studies, Study Aboard, and Belmont Central.Provide problem solving and service response to inquiries and concerns from Residence Life constituents including but not limited to residential students, parents and families, as well as prospective students. Assist in the daily operation and functions of the physical Office of Residence Life including answering phones and electronic communication when needed as well as meeting with those entering in the main office, including serving as a backup for the Office manager when out. This includes providing guidance and assistance to student employees as well as helping maintain the physical office. Other duties as assigned
