Job Description

Position Summary

The B2C Billing automation for electronical and digital invoices consultant is a key driver of digital transformation within Global Services (GS) operational departments globally. We are looking for a B2C Billing Automation Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing digital billing processes for our customers. Your main goal will be to enhance efficiency and customer billing experience through automation.

General Job Responsibilities

Process Management and Optimization

Design, implement, and maintain automated creation of invoices, by using the last updated technologies on the market (EDI, API,….)Being able to analyze the different invoice types in Bosch and give them the best automatic and digital form.Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks through process improvements and automation.Collaborate with IT and finance teams to integrate digital billing solutions.Monitor and analyze the performance of the billing system, identifying areas for improvement.Ensure accuracy and timeliness in issuing digital invoices.

Digital Transformation and Innovation

Stay updated on trends and technologies in digital billing and automation.Evaluate and recommend leading practices and technologies for issuing digital invoices.Develop and implement a detailed action plan for digital transformation, including tools, technologies, and an execution roadmap.Collaborate with technical experts to deploy IT solutions aligned with transformation roadmaps.Lead the optimization of billing processes through digital initiatives.

Training and Knowledge Sharing

Create a key user networking group within the billing expert Bosch worldwide.Design and deliver training programs to educate global teams on processes, tools, and SAP/EDI functionalities.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of best practices, processes, and tools to ensure knowledge sharing and standardization.Provide technical support and training to users on the billing system.Promote the adoption of best practices across the organization to drive continuous improvement.

Data Analysis and Performance Measurement

Leverage data analytics, machine learning, and automation tools to enhance the paper less billing system.Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the success and impact of transformation initiatives.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management

Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, sales, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of B2C activities.Act as a technical advisor to worldwide departments, improving billing processes across the organization.Engage with global stakeholders, including:Service Owners for Credit, Receivables, Cash Application, and Billing.Process Excellence B2C teams (Purpose Teams, PST).B2C Operations worldwide.Central Finance (C/FIT).BD/Technology teams.BDB/S4 project teams.

Qualifications

Education and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, Certified Scrum Master) is highly desirable.

Experience

2-5 years of relevant experience in Bill-to-Cash or Order-to-Cash processes.experience with project management methodologies such as Agile and customer-centric approaches like Design Thinking and UX Testing.Proven knowledge of the different invoice types available.

Technical Skills

SAP Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP SD Billing area.Strong Understanding of Bill-to-Cash (B2C) Processes: Comprehensive knowledge of invoicing.

Soft Skills

Strategic thinker with a proven ability to address complex issues and deliver innovative solutions.Positive mindset able to solve problems, understanding and managing emotions, as well as empathizing with others.Highly adaptable, capable of working collaboratively across functions and in multicultural, international settings.Excellent communication skills in English (minimum B2+/C1 level). Proficiency in additional languages, particularly German, is highly valued.
