Billing Clerk
Description We are offering a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in Honolulu, Hawaii. The individual will be involved in various accounting and administrative tasks within the team. This Billing Clerk role is crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring smooth financial operations within the organization. Responsibilities: • Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications. • Maintain updated and precise records of customer credit. • Manage data entry tasks related to accounting and customer service. • Regularly audit customer accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. • Handle accounts receivable functions to ensure all finances are up to date. • Utilize various software systems for accounting and data management. • Regularly generate reports related to billing and account statuses. • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to their bills and accounts. • Perform scanning and filing tasks to maintain organized digital and physical records. • Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to manage data and communicate within the team. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in the role of a Billing Clerk or similar position. • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems and Computerized Billing. • Familiarity with Accounting Functions such as Accounts Receivable (AR). • Capable of Answering Inbound Calls and providing exceptional Customer Service. • Ability to perform Data Entry tasks with high accuracy. • Proficient in Scanning, Filing, and Auditing documents. • Capable of generating reports. • Typing speed of 45 - 60 WPM. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook. • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
