Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk in Irving, Texas, within the Utilities/Infrastructure industry. As a Billing Clerk, you will be tasked with tracking specific data, reconciling deliveries for invoicing, and ensuring efficient data entry. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining an organized and efficient office environment. Responsibilities: • Track specific data using Microsoft Excel and Access databases • Reconcile deliveries for the purpose of invoicing • Ensure efficient and thorough data entry • Maintain an organized and efficient office environment • Serve as a reliable asset to the team • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks • Contribute to a motivated team environment • Remain seated for extended periods due to the nature of the job • Provide exceptional organization skills in all tasks. Requirements • Proven experience in a similar role within the Utilities/Infrastructure industry. • Proficiency in billing procedures, ideally with a thorough understanding of the Utilities/Infrastructure sector. • Demonstrable skills in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets. • Keen attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks. • Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and meet tight deadlines. • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles. • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records. • High degree of honesty and integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. • A high school diploma is required; further education in Finance or Business Administration will be considered a plus.
