Description We are seeking a Billing Clerk to join our team in PHELPS, New York. In this role, you will be tasked with managing customer billing activities, maintaining financial records, and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities: • Efficiently manage customer credit applications and process them with accuracy • Maintain complete and up-to-date customer credit records • Handle customer inquiries and troubleshoot billing issues • Monitor customer accounts and take relevant action when necessary • Generate and send out invoices and account statements • Provide answers to customer questions and resolve billing discrepancies through email and phone communication • Input and update billing data in the accounting system • Reconcile accounts and follow up on overdue payments • Ensure financial records are kept organized and accurate • Utilize accounting software systems and computerized billing to perform accounting functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. • Familiarity with Computerized Billing is essential. • Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is needed. • Capable of Answering Inbound Calls professionally. • Demonstrated ability in Customer Service is necessary. • Prior experience in Billing is crucial. • Knowledge of Billing Functions is important. • Proficiency in using Billing Software is required. • Experience in preparing Billing Statements is a must.
