Billing/Coding Analyst - Ancillary

Job Summary:
Under the general guidance of the Financial Improvement Manager, the Billing/Coding Analyst Ancillary is responsible for auditing state employed providers, maintaining the annual audit process, and assisting with training and creation of training materials. This individual will act as a resource for provider questions and as a liaison for the Advanced Practitioner Workforce team. Responsible for applying/correcting diagnosis codes and CPT codes according to coding rules and regulations for both professional and facility billing.
Minimum Qualifications:
Current RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) and 3 years of coding and billing experience OR current CPC (Certified Professional Coder) and 4 years of coding and billing experience required. Excellent communication, organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills required. Auditing experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Healthcare Administration recommended but not required.
Work Days:
M-F 8am-4:30pm
