GENERAL DESCRIPTION 

​​Responsible preparing, auditing and posting auto and manual invoices, and for performing related accounts receivable transactions. Individual contributor that is fully proficient in applying established standards and knowledge based acquired from several years of experience in accounts receivable. Perform complex billing transactions independently. Works with corporate teams to resolve billing issues. Responsible for identifying and managing solutions allowing the invoicing of charges to customers that meet their specifications. Participates in end of month close process. Prepares monthly account reconciliations and reconciles balance sheet accounts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES 

​​Prepare, post, and distribute invoices in accordance with company guidelines and customer specifications. Process approved invoice corrections as requested. 

​Create manual invoices and specialized invoices as needed 

​Organize and review bills of ladings received from plants; Match & attach weight tickets. Assign freight using Transportation templates. Create invoices overriding weight per delivery tickets, freight to terms, and following customer specific notes; contact other departments 

​Process specialized project and contractor billings. Maintain tracker for closed and open projects. 

​Provide back-up support for periodic billing cycle creations and specialized billing as needed 

​Run daily print process. Run daily post process; Reconcile posting errors. Print daily Invoice register and AR Distribution. Distribute & mail company invoices per customer specific requirements including BOLs and PODs as requested. 

​Process approved credit and debit requests as received. Create reverse/rebills and manual credits and debits using all customer specific information. Process product returns credits. 

​ Prepares end of month account reconciliations and month end accruals 

​Participates in SOX and internal audits. 

​Maintains internal control procedures of an assigned accounts receivable area. 

​Prepares complex reports and ad hoc analysis for an accounts receivable area, as needed.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

​​​Minimum 3-5 years work-related experience 

​Bachelor’s degree or in 2-year college degree​

PHYSICAL DEMANDS  

​​Constantly required to sit and occasionally required to walk, stand, climb (includes stairs), balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl, and talk, hear, and smell 

​Constantly using hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, and computer keyboards.  

​Routinely required to reach with hands and arms, squat, turn/twist, or reach, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 20 pounds

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $25.97 - $25.97 USD per hour. 

We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
