Billing Coordinator

We have an outstanding career opportunity for aBilling Coordinator to join a leading Company located in theHackensack, NJ surrounding area.
Salary: 70k -80K
Job Responsibilities:
+ Prepared and edited client invoices in accordance with firm policies and client guidelines.
+ Proficient in E-billing procedures.
+ Review and verify the accuracy of billing data, ensuring all billable time and expenses are accounted for.
+ Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and other staff to resolve billing discrepancies and issues.
+ Respond to client inquiries regarding billing and payment status.
+ Process write-offs following Firm policy.
+ Ability to execute complex bills in a timely manner (i.e., multiple discounts by matter, split-party billing, preparation of electronic bills).
+ Ability to handle a high volume of bills per month.
+ Ability to effectively interact and communicate with attorneys, assistants, and clients.
+ Review and verify the accuracy of billing and supporting documentation as required.
+ Create new billing formats as needed.
+ Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly billing reports for management review.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
+ 3 or more years of hands-on billing experience in a law firm.
+ Elite 3E, Aderant (or equivalent accounting software) experience.
+ Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office.
+ Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
+ Ability to organize workflow and use time efficiently.
+ Ability to show strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to perform at high levels in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment and successfully adapt to changing priorities and work demands.
+ Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction, follow up on own initiative.
+ Flexibility to adapt to all situations and work varied hours, possibly working weekends or evenings.
