The qualified candidate will be responsible for management of the billing department and staff, ensuring the timely and accurate submittal of invoices to DOE on a biweekly and monthly basis, in accordance with company policies and contract terms and conditions. In addition, this position will ensure all accounts receivable reconciliations are completed in a timely manner and ensure supporting documentation is included with the invoices to ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions. The successful candidate must maintain a high level of communication and responsibility to internal and external clients and executive management, while ensuring invoice records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures. Perform the following essential job duties: *Manage the performance of all independent reviews of the invoicing data *Manage completion of monthly account reconciliations. *Manage the performance of all internal and external audits *Lead independent reviews and develop recommended enhancements to invoice procedures *Implement solutions to resolve customer questions/concerns in a timely manner. *Ensuring timely receipt of invoice payments *Ensure compliance with reporting deadlines. *Manage all accounts receivable efforts and support to the cash management department. *Ensure accurate and timely daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reports. *Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of invoicing policies and procedures * Interface with various business functions and outside vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and obtain the necessary supporting documentation; * Comply with H2C and departmental policies and procedures; * Ensure ISMS Principles are incorporated into organization's activities; and * Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Grade 21: BA/BS in Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline with twelve (12) years of experience in accounting, finance or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience Grade 22: BA/BS in Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline with fifteen (15) years of experience in accounting, finance or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is larger, and the expected level of performance is increased. Grade 23: BA/BS in Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline with seventeen (17) years of experience in accounting, finance or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience Note the essential duties for this grade level are like that of the previous grade level, however the scope of responsibility is significantly larger, and the expected level of performance is greatly increased. A salary offer will be made within the targeted hiring range posted. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
