Spurwink Services is seeking a full-time Billing Representative for our large mental health agency. The ideal candidate will have two or more years experience with Medicare, MaineCare, and other third-party payers. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively is a must, as are excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Candidate must possess a willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.\n
This is a Monday through Friday position. \n
DUTIES:\n\nPrepare, process, and submit billings for the entire Agency and perform all core functions.\nAssist with follow-up on accounts past due or denied for payment. \nMaineCare Authorization Import.\nAssistance with research and resolution of credit balances.\nAssist in A\/R-related matters for the year-end audit, internal QA audits or audits by third-party funding agencies.\n\n
QUALIFICATIONS:\n
High school diploma or equivalent. Two or more years experience preferred.\n
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Necessary: Ideal candidate will have two or more years experience with Medicare, Maine Care, and other third-party payers. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively is a must, as are excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Candidate must possess a willingness to work in a team-oriented environment. Experience with personal computer spreadsheets and database packages, including Excel, Microsoft Word is required, and Accounts Receivable financial software.\n
