Billing Specialist
CyberData Technologies is seeking an Administrative Specialist to support our Federal Client in Washington, DC. *** MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN USSS PUBLIC TRUST CLEARANCE *** Job details: + 2 years experience in a similar role / position. + Administrative contractors must possess the skills and ability to maintain, monitor, and manage the processing of telecommunications billing, invoicing services, and inventory management. The USSS manages numerous telecommunications wired circuits, radio antenna sites; data circuits radio circuits, and mobile/wireless services for which we are billed on a monthly basis. + Receive mail for invoices (electronically or hard copy) + Open mail for billing/invoicing statements and date/time stamp all incoming correspondence + Input receipt of invoices into the telecommunications database + Verify that the bill/invoice is for USSS telecommunications support + Process all billing and invoices for radio antenna sites, voice, video and wireless for payment + Open and close trouble tickets/service tickets utilizing the USSS ticketing system + Designated personnel will assist with the submission of circuit orders to TELCO/GSA and ensure process is completed in the database + Stamp the bill/invoice for payment authorization and gain approval and signature from the appropriate Communications Section Lead + Verify and monitor the date goods and/or services were received + Maintain a copy of the signed invoice for permanent file + Resolve billing and/or billing discrepancies with various telecommunications vendors to determine resolution + Maintain billing and invoicing in database + Answer telephones and transfer callers to appropriate full-time federal employee + Monitors and maintain administrative documents, trip reports, operational telecommunication requests memorandums, purchase orders, and incoming and/or outgoing faxes + Maintain, monitor, and manage the TMSS processing of telecommunications billing, invoicing services and inventory management + Assist USSS personnel with opening and closing trouble tickets/service tickets utilizing the USSS ticketing system. + Assist with ticketing system cue management + Assist with the submission of circuit orders to TELCO/GSA and ensure process is completed in the database + Assist Full Time government Employees (FTE) with maintaining invoices from point of receipt until the invoice is fully processed + Provides backup support to administrative personnel in the areas of receiving mail, date/time stamping all billing/invoices, verify bills are correct, processing for payment authorization and signature by the Radio Programs Section Chief.
