Billing Specialist
Description - Payroll Specialist Core Responsibilities: Verify schedules, addressing issues such as missing clock-ins/outs and timesheet inconsistencies (3–4 hours daily). Manually enter data for travel time, sick time, and other exceptions, with consistent follow-ups with coordination departments and union representatives. Process and prepare payrolls, particularly during high-volume periods (Monday–Wednesday), managing 200+ timesheets and 200–300 exceptions weekly. Handle approximately 20–30 escalated calls per week, ensuring clear communication and resolution. Collaborate with Coordinating Supervisors to investigate and resolve overages, incorrect timekeeping, and billing concerns. Assist in tax-related inquiries (e.g., W-2s) during influx periods.
