Billing Support Specialist

Learn more at FuturePlan.com. **Section 1: Position Summary** The Billing Support Specialist is responsible for resolving customer billing, cash application, and collection problems. This position will report to the Billing Support Manager. **Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Provides clear communication and customer service on all billing, payment, and collection related issues to external customers and internal business partners. + Investigates, analyzes, and resolves billing and payment discrepancies + Presents oneself as a positive role model to the company and customers. + Adheres to all department and company policies and procedures. + Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients. + Our I-Client service philosophy and our Core Values of People Matter, Quality First and Integrity Always® should be visible in your actions on a day-to-day basis showing your support of our organizational culture. + Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned **Supervision** + N/A **Section 3: Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements** + Associate degree or equivalent work experience. + 2+ years of accounting and/ or customer service experience is preferred. + Knowledge of basic accounting + Strong client interface and verbal & written communication skills + Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills + Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external clients + Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines + Ability to work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and experience with technology We are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer _Be aware of employment fraud.
