Job Description

We are seeking a skilled BIM/CAD Technician to join our team in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates. As a BIM/CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in creating and managing Building Information Models (BIM) and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) drawings for various architectural and engineering projects.

Develop and maintain accurate BIM models and CAD drawings for architectural and engineering projectsCollaborate with project teams to ensure proper coordination and integration of design elementsCreate detailed 3D visualizations and renderings to support project presentationsAssist in the preparation of construction documentation and technical specificationsEnsure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standardsPerform quality control checks on BIM models and CAD drawingsSupport the implementation and maintenance of BIM/CAD standards and best practicesParticipate in project meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussionsStay updated on the latest BIM/CAD technologies and industry trends

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field2-5 years of experience in BIM/CAD in the architecture, engineering, or construction industryProficiency in BIM software such as Revit or ArchiCADExpertise in CAD software, particularly AutoCADStrong 3D modeling and visualization skillsIn-depth knowledge of construction documentation and standardsFamiliarity with building codes and regulations in the UAEExcellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detailStrong organizational and time management skillsEffective communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenUnderstanding of architectural and engineering principlesKnowledge of construction methodologies and practicesBIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) preferredAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentWillingness to adapt to new technologies and workflows
