Role description:

This role is part of Arcadis’ Global Excellence Centre (GEC) and will join our 3,000+ talented individuals working in India, Romania, and Philippines, in partnership with Arcadis’ offices globally. The GEC brings key capabilities and capacity to support our clients seamlessly around the world. You will join our global Structural Engineering team, where our projects and development opportunities can fit various ambitions from 3D modeling and parametric design to Operate & Maintain digital methods. The delivery is secured through global collaboration platforms like BIM360, which allows engineers across various offices to work together seamlessly while maintaining clear visibility for our clients.

Role accountabilities:

Communicate regularly with the BIM Manager, providing project status reports and coordinating clash detection and resolution activities. Delegate tasks to the modellers, ensuring workload distribution across disciplines and assisting with modelling when needed. Create federated models for BIM coordination and ensure the latest model is up-to-date in the common data environment. Support engineers with drawing standards and BIM software usage, while mentoring modellers and addressing any queries. Oversee workflow coordination and ensure compliance with company/project standards, including the BIM Execution Plan. Perform data validation, model health checks, and manage the setup and efficiency of new BIM model projects. Provide advanced BIM training and ensure the project team adheres to BIM standards, execution plans, and ISO 19650.

Qualifications & Experience:

Mandatory:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. Good English skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks skills. Can quickly adopt to drawing standards.

Nice to have:

French language would be a big plus. 8 years of experience working with relevant BIM software’s on Multi-Discipline BIM projects. Overseas Experience (work in other countries or project design outsourcing company).
