BIM MANAGER
Job Title: BIM Manager

Job Description

A leading contractor is seeking a well-rounded BIM professional to manage and lead BIM and VDC efforts throughout North Carolina. The BIM Manager will be responsible for creating and managing Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects, including digital construction procedures at the design, construction, and handover stages of a project. This individual will serve as the gatekeeper for BIM workflow, and act as the liaison for planning, 3D renderings, cost estimating, specification management, and more.

ResponsibilitiesCreate and manage BIM projects Act as the gatekeeper for BIM workflow.Support project teams in estimating, modeling, and detailing.Help resolve BIM design issues as needed.Manage and distribute coordinated digital documents.Communicate with subcontractors regarding electronic models.Ensure quality control for accuracy of shop drawings.Provide technical support and training to project teams.Stay informed of best practices for BIM and Revit.Essential SkillsIn-depth working knowledge of current BIM practices and software.Proficiency in Autodesk software, particularly Revit.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 5+ years of experience in modeling, design, drafting, or engineering.High School diploma or GED required.Revit and/or other Autodesk software certification preferred.Knowledge of industrial construction and contract documentation.Work Environment

Flexible schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
