BIM MEP Detailer
Job Title : VDC/ BIM MEPJob Description We are looking for a talented and dedicated VDC/BIM MEP Detailer/Drafter to join our MEP department. This role involves assisting the MEP Coordinator in modeling and drawing HVAC, Mechanical piping, Electrical, and Plumbing systems, and working closely with the Utility VDC coordination team to create 3D models. Responsibilities + Assist the MEP Coordinator in modeling and drawing HVAC, Mechanical piping, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. + Attend VDC/BIM Coordination Meetings. + Work with the Utility VDC coordination team to create 3D models of HVAC, Mechanical Piping, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. + Detail and annotate installation drawings for use by field and prefabrication personnel. + Work towards becoming a proficient VDC MEP Detailer. Essential Skills + High School Diploma or GED equivalent. + Experience or education using Revit, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Inventor, or similar software. + 1-2 years' experience with Revit, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Inventor or similar software is a plus but not required. + Ability to read and interpret design or construction documents. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in high voltage substation, renewable energy, or other related fields. Work Environment 90% of the job is in the office, with 10% involving driving out to job sites. The work schedule is 5 days a week, with typical hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Employees are allowed to leave the office at 12pm on Fridays if they have completed their 40 hours. The company offers a high deductible healthcare plan that is fully covered for individuals, a 401k with a 4% match if you contribute 6%, short and long-term disability, and basic life insurance.
