Job Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented BIM Modeller specializing in Highways to join our innovative engineering team in Centurion, South Africa. As a key member of our organization, you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge highway projects, including freeways, state routes, and local municipal roads.

Create accurate 3D models, drawings, sketches, and diagrams for highway projects using advanced BIM softwareCollaborate with design engineers to produce high-quality highway models and drawings for both international and local projectsWork closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of BIM modelsParticipate in design progress and coordination meetings, actively contributing innovative ideas and solutionsAnalyze and interpret data from specific discipline and interdisciplinary project BIM modelsDevelop efficient workflows to optimize project timelines and budgetsStay updated on the latest BIM technologies and best practices in highway designEnsure all work adheres to project specifications, standards, and quality requirementsAssist in troubleshooting and resolving design-related issues using analytical and problem-solving skills

QualificationsDraughting Certificate required; National Diploma (NDip) in a related field is an advantage2-5 years of experience in BIM modeling, preferably in highway or transportation projectsProficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; knowledge of Microstation and OpenRoads is a plusStrong 3D modeling skills and comprehensive understanding of BIM principles and practicesFamiliarity with highway design standards and regulationsExcellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, high-quality drawingsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentExcellent time management and organizational skillsWillingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologiesStrong communication skills in English, both verbal and writtenAbility to work efficiently under pressure and meet project deadlinesInnovative mindset with a passion for improving processes and workflows
