Bindery Cutter
As a Bindery/Cutter Operator, you will play a critical role in our production process. Your primary responsibility will be operating cutting and binding equipment to produce high-quality printed products. You will collaborate closely with our production team to ensure efficient workflow, meet production deadlines, and maintain the highest standards of quality control. Responsibilities- Operate cutting and binding equipment, including but not limited to guillotine cutters, folders, collators, and stitchers.- Set up machines according to job specifications, including selecting appropriate paper stocks and making necessary adjustments.- Ensure proper alignment, measurement, and accuracy of cuts, folds, and binding processes.- Monitor production processes to identify and resolve any issues that may affect quality or efficiency.- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.- Collaborate with the production team to prioritize work orders and meet production deadlines.- Conduct quality control checks to ensure the final products meet specifications and customer requirements.- Maintain a clean and organized work area. Basic QualificationsMust be 18 years of age or older Preferred Qualifications Education and Experience: HS/GED and proven experience as a Bindery/Cutter Operator or similar role.- In-depth knowledge of operating cutting and binding equipment.- Proficient in interpreting job specifications and setting up machines accordingly.- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common machine issues.- Good physical stamina, as the role may involve lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.- A team player with good communication and collaboration abilities.-Being self motivated Why Join Us + We value our people and offer generous benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision benefits start day ONE! This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
