Intern Project Proposal: Optimization of CE ZipChip for Separation of Therapeutic Peptide Metabolites
Project Overview: We are excited to offer an intern project focused on the optimization of the CE ZipChip technology for the separation of therapeutic peptide metabolites.
Project Description: The primary objective of this project is to optimize the separation method for peptides and lipid linker metabolites using the CE ZipChip. Initial trials have been conducted with mixed standard compound. However, further optimization is required to achieve efficient and reliable separation of the target compounds.
Responsibilities:
Method Optimization: Refine the separation method to enhance the resolution and reproducibility of peptide and lipid linker metabolite separations.Chromatographic Techniques: Gain hands-on experience with various chromatographic separation techniques, including reverse phase chromatography, mixed mode chromatography, and capillary electrophoresis.Data Analysis: Analyze the separation data to evaluate the performance of the optimized method and identify areas for further improvement.Collaboration: Collaborate closely with IQVIA research team to ensure alignment with their project goals and to leverage their expertise in therapeutic peptide development.Learning Opportunities: This project offers a unique opportunity for the intern to:

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $31,900.00 - $53,100.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
