Job DescriptionBasic biochemistry: protein concentration determination (BCA, nanodrop), Western blotUnderstand antibody isotypes, IgG subclasses and immunoglobulin structures: ELISAUnderstand and experience in SPR technology: Biacore, Octet and/or CarterriaProvide instrument maintenance and prepare essential reagents for all experiments using instrumentsKeep accurate records, follow standard procedures, and perform data analysisQualificationsThe ideal candidate would possess:
Experience with assays to quantify protein-protein interactionsAn understanding of antibody expression, purification, and characterizationDemonstrated skills and expertise in the theory and practical application of experiments and data interpretationIndependent thinking with the ability to innovate from the bench and efficiently collaborate with other team members within one’s own reporting line as well as the project team Knowledge of data analysis software (Excel, Prism etc.)Basic Minimum Qualifications:
Master or Bachelor's degree in biochemistry/molecular biology or related degree concentration, or equivalent directly related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)2+ years of HPLC operation experience with ability to troubleshootAt least two year of laboratory experienceAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipAdditional InformationPosition is full-time, first shift, Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM.
