**Job Description**
The Human Immune Monitoring Center at Mount Sinai leverages powerful technology platforms to provide comprehensive immune profiling services for a diverse range of clinical and translational research studies. Our assays generate large and complex experimental data sets, and the HIMC is unique in developing and providing a suite of analytics services that rely on state-of-the-art software.

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
+ Proficiency in JavaScript (React, Angular, or Vue), Python, and SQL.
+ Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
**Bonus Skills:**
+ Basic knowledge of genomics, proteomics, or other life sciences is a plus.
+ Knowledge of bioinformatics data formats (e.g., FASTA, VCF) and data processing tools.
+ Familiarity with data visualization libraries, such as D3.js or Plotly, is a plus.
**Experience Required**
+ 2+ years of experience in full stack development, with a solid understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies.
+ Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
+ Understanding of RESTful API design and experience building or consuming APIs.
+ Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies.
**Responsibilities**
+ Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications for managing, analyzing, and visualizing center wide projects as well as complex biological data.
+ Collaborate with bioinformatics scientists, and research teams to understand project requirements and deliver robust, user-friendly solutions.
+ Integrate databases, cloud resources, and third-party APIs to streamline data workflows and analysis pipelines.
+ Implement secure and scalable back-end solutions to handle large datasets and perform efficient data querying.
+ Create dynamic front-end interfaces that facilitate user interaction with research data and visualizations.
+ Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance performance across applications as needed.
**Goals/Outcomes of the Research Project**
+ The main goal of this project is to create robust, user-friendly applications that allow researchers to manage and interpret large datasets, empowering them to make breakthroughs in biomedical research. By creating applications that simplify data analysis and visualization, we aim to support researchers in understanding complex biological interactions and identifying potential therapeutic targets. Successful outcomes will include secure, scalable, and intuitive software tools that enhance the productivity and impact of our research efforts.

**Compensation Statement**
Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $65000 - $83430 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
