Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated student to join our research team on the NIH-funded project titled "Elucidating the Role of Luminal pH in Regulating Phagosome Transport." This project aims to enhance our understanding of how luminal pH influences phagosome transport in macrophages. Key responsibilities include:
Purifying phagosomes from macrophages for thorough component analysis.Utilizing mass spectrometry for quantitative assessment of phagosomal molecular composition post-phagocytosis.Performing immunofluorescence microscopy to identify and visualize specific proteins and lipids.This role offers valuable research experience in cell biology and related techniques.
