Record information based on water level and flow measurements from gages and sensors, rainfall and precipitation data from rain gauges, and soil moisture and temperature data from sensors. Help verify and analyze data using basic AI tools and machine learning techniques such as basic machine learning algorithms and data visualization techniques to support hydrologic assessments. Provide scientific services that support analysis by assisting with simulations of existing conditions and modeling scenarios, using programming and simulations tools under supervision. Assist in the development of reports and presentations summarizing research findings, including creating visual aids, such as figures and tables, to communicate results. Help with data analysis, including assisting in training and testing AI models, performing calibrations, and verifying model outputs. Contribute to evaluating alternative scenarios, such as best management practices, to assess their potential impacts on water quantity and quality. Other activities to support the program of Hydrology and Biogeochemistry at the RCREC. Expected Salary:$19.16 - $25.19 /hour Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree in biology or a closely related life science field. Preferred Qualifications:Experience in the field of computer simulations and AI application in hydrology and water resources. Strong interest and experience in working with large hydrological database and modeling. An interest, commitment and aptitude for research in the field.
