This position will cover a sales territory in Greater Dallas and Oklahoma where you will be required to visit customers in person.
JOB OVERVIEW:
The Biomaterials Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving maximum sales revenue, profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services. This responsibility includes personally contacting and securing new business accounts/customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Represents the company in a professional manner to dental professionals in a defined territory.
Sells products consistent with sales targets generated by the Regional Sales Manager.
Achieves targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth as defined by the Regional Sales Manager.
Applies the company’s strategy, tactics, budget planning, and sales plans in an effective manner.
Identifies and reports on business opportunities in target markets.
Acts as an ambassador and role model for our business.
Utilizes business analytics, sales spreadsheet reporting, and company CRM for planning and capturing customer information.
Attends local, regional, and national tradeshows as required.
Four and a half days of field travel interacting with customers is required.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
1 – 2 years prior sales experience
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Typically, a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.
TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position requires extensive travel within a specific geographic territory assignment. No special physical demands required.
