Sets up and maintains a system for the completion and filing of pertinent records regarding all bio-medical equipment. Oversees work done by outside vendors. Monitors all scheduling of preventative maintenance for covered equipment while maintaining equipment repairs of the unscheduled nature. Garnet Health System provides a compensation range to comply with the New York State law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. When determining a team member’s compensation and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity). Qualifications Minimum Education: Associates Degree in Bio-Medical Technology or Engineering. Minimum Experience: Six years work related experience with specialty in one or more fields (such as radiology or cardiology) in addition to demonstrated ability to support Medical lasers, Lab, ICU/CCU, Emergency/Surgery, and general clinical equipment . Physical Requirements: Works inside. Frequently exposed to high voltage electrical equipment. Occasionally exposed to other disagreeable elements. Frequent contact with various Medical Center personnel, physicians and sales/service representatitves. Workplace type On-site
