Sodexo’s HTM division has an exciting opportunity for those interested in joining the healthcare profession. We are hiring employees into our Biomed Trainee program. The program contains courses that provide theoretical and technical training related to the Biomedical Technology Industry. Through a combination of on-the-job training and formal training, a Biomed Trainee can become skilled in the industry.

What You'll Do

Through this program you will:

Be assigned a dedicated mentor and training partnerReceive formal training on medical terminology, anatomy, IT/cybersecurity, test equipment, electrical systems, & basic biomed/equipment repairGain on-the-job training and experience in a hospital settingLearn how to serve in an entry-level clinical equipment support technician roleEarn as you learn with a guaranteed wage increase as you develop new skills

The BMET Trainee program ends when the trainee achieves 18 months of work experience and obtains the CABT Certification which is a nationally recognized certificate issued by AAMI signifying that the trainee can schedule technology maintenance, support senior technicians, incoming/routine inspections, and minor troubleshooting.

 

Candidates recently graduating or obtaining certifications in biomed, electronics or related field are encouraged to apply.

 

Location available in Scottsbluff, NE

 

This position inventories, retrieves, tracks, assesses and repair basic medical equipment.
