The successful candidate:
Hours: Mon - Fri 7:00am - 3:30pm (occasional on-call)
Maintain inventory control system for the purpose of preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical/electronic patient care. Laboratory diagnostically, general electro-mechanical patient care, and other health care equipment, perform troubleshooting tasks to same equipment and assist various departments as to the proper operation and general maintenance (i.e., cleaning, setup, safety concerns, etc.) of aforementioned items.
Requirements:
High school grad, GED, or equivalent
1 year electricity/electronics troubleshooting
High school or college level electricity/electronics training
Preferred Education:
AAS in biomed technology or equivalent electricity/electronics
Pref. Certification/Licensure:
AAMI CBET
Preferred Experience:
3 years biomedical in clinical setting
Skills/Abilities:
Basic knowledge of electronic componentry including passives, transistor theory, logic. Special systems exposure such as nurse call, laboratory and pharmaceutical storage monitoring, surveillance and similar systems
Software:
Microsoft Office 365 suite, CMMS, and vendor specific configuration tools
Machines/Equipment:
Digital multi-meter (DMM), clinical safety analyzer, patient simulator, pressure and flow measurement (infusion devices), oscilloscope, personal computer, soldering rework and general hand tools
