Job Title: Bioscience MFG Operator (level 2)

Job Description

Candidates must be comfortable formulating, filling, and labeling. This job entails working in a laboratory setting while completing routine work, with occasional variations from the norm, involving a moderate degree of complexity. Attention to detail is required in performing all functions of this position.

ResponsibilitiesComplete production and quality analysis of reagents, components, and finished products in accordance with SOPs, work instructions, and the Production Schedule to ensure timely availability of cost-effective products of high quality.Effectively communicate and interface with workgroups to ensure the completion of daily production.Work in both standard and cleanroom environments while adhering to room-specific PPE requirements.Operate and/or monitor production equipment and make necessary adjustments to ensure smooth operations and high-quality results.Perform formulating, filling, and/or labeling of products.Comprehend production paperwork up to and including product reconciliation, label reconciliation, labor sheets, product fill checks, torque checks, etc.Follow steps in the manufacturing paperwork without deviating from instructions.Work safely with chemicals and hazardous materials.Comply with all company safety regulations and procedures.Comply with ISO guidelines and all company SOPs.Clean and sanitize work areas, machines, glassware, or equipment as needed or directed.Work overtime and flexible shifts as required.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsAssemblyPackagingManufacturingProductionGeneral laborAdditional Skills & QualificationsAbility to earn attendance bonus, $600 after 2 weeks and another $600 after 90 days.Ability to perform quality analysis in compliance with regulatory requirements, GMPs, and standard operating procedures.Ability to work with semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment.Strong attention to detail to avoid substantial interpretive errors.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Operate processing and packaging equipment including balances, labelers, band sealers, pumps, filtration systems, and other packaging equipment. Weigh, measure, and check raw materials with the assistance of a computer interface to assure batches manufactured contain proper materials and quantities. Calibrate and operate semi-automated and automated manufacturing equipment. Perform in-process sampling and testing to assure batches meet specifications. Maintain equipment and lab room to ensure proper operating conditions and cleanliness requirements. The position involves recurring work situations with occasional variations from the norm, requiring a moderate degree of complexity and attention to detail.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.90
