Biotech Production Operator

As part of the Lilly Production Team, you will be responsible for performing a range of production and operations tasks within a dynamic team, contributing to the manufacturing process and ensuring a consistent supply of high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

What will you do as a Production Operator in Lilly?

Operate Machinery or Systems: You'll be responsible for operating various types of machinery, equipment, or computer systems according to established procedures and guidelines.Adhere to Health & Safety requirements: Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with supervisors, coworkers, cross functional teams, and other team members to coordinate activities, address challenges, and achieve operational goals. Communicate a shift handover & ensure any issues are communicated effectively & actioned appropriately. Follow Procedures: Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and protocols to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with regulations.Troubleshoot Issues: Identify and troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions that arise during operations and highlight to the relevant personnel appropriately.Training and Development: Engage in training sessions and skill development programs to enhance your knowledge and proficiency in operating equipment and systems. Training of new colleagues on manufacturing processes.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:

Leaving certificate as a minimum or equivalent.Having a relevant pharmaceutical/biotech industry qualification is desirable.         

Additional Skills/Preferences:

To be flexible, reliable and willingness to follow the work, undertake a variety of tasks and embrace change, willingness to provide cover when required.Able to collaborate effectively across cross functional teams.Good communication skills.

Personal Considerations:   

Initially, the Operator role will be primarily on a day shift to support plant start-up activities.  Once the plant is started, the Process Operator role will be shift based
