This is a full time, hourly 1st shift CDL driver position. This will be a 12hr shift. Full time colleagues are eligible for a full benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, 401k with company matching funds available, paid vacation.
The employee must be available to spend several days in a row performing driving and transloading duties.  Work may be scheduled on weekends and holidays. 
Equipment can include but is not limited to PDI railcars, semi-truck, tank trailers, dry van, and pneumatic, pumps, hoses, and valves.  Employee will be responsible for safely and efficiently transferring, loading and unloading product according to company and customer instructions. 

Typical duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Perform a daily equipment inspection with the ability to detect mechanical defects & document. Follow posted speed limits in parking lots while transloading.Comply with in-cab camera systems. Keep dispatch and other company officials updated with ETA of transloading loads and other pertinent information.Employee is required to work and adapt to potentially stressful situations; traffic, customer delays, weather conditions.Interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of terminal operations and promote a teamwork focused environment. Communicate with team/shift employees concerning proper operation of equipment, safety concerns and maintenance issues.Cranking of dolly legs. Pulling 5th wheels pinsMust be able to lift 50 pounds.Must be able to work in outdoor conditions year around.Ascending and descending tractor cabs and trailers. Drivers may be required to operate equipment up to 12 hours a day. Job Duties may include bending, stooping or lifting repeatedly.  On their feet for long periods of time. Working at heights that exceed 13 feet high to check and seal dome lids at top of trailer.Operating equipment associated with the transloading process for bulk flour. Job SummaryHandle and connect hosesOperate valves. Couple and uncouple trailers. Climbing carabis system and using company issued fall protection.Education/TrainingHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED). Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situationsExperienceMust be 24 years of age.Pass a drug test.Pass back ground check.Computer Comprehension is a plus.Perform inspections of trailer and tractors.Shuttle/Preload Trailers.Ability to work with minimal supervision.Maintain a good attendance record.  (No more than 3 days unexcused absent in calendar year).Ability to work well with others.Conduct all job tasks with a positive safety attitude.Maintains good housekeeping.Must have a good attention to detail.Certifications and Licenses RequiredCDL’s are required for this hourly position but job would mainly be non driving.  Driving could become needed as volumes and as customer needs.ADM requires the successful completion of a background check
