Birth Registration Coordinator

Responsibilities

Process birth certificates, log newborn screening results, process paternity forms, bills paternity and makes invoices for charges, answers/processes telephone calls, interview mothers for information on the birth certificates.


Qualifications
Experience working in Hospital Environment.Preferred AA degree or equivalent.Preferred typing speed of 40 wpm required.Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel and working knowledge of Outlook.Ability to make decisions and work independently.Bilingual (Spanish) to be able to help the p/p unit with patient translation preferred.Also be able to do birth certificate whenever necessary.Have excellent communication and clerical skills required and writing ability essential.High school diploma or equivalent.Overview
