The BizOps Manager, Finance & WFM will be primarily responsible for workforce management activity for Global Support, with a specific focus on our customer facing teams. This will include annual capacity planning, monthly reforecasting of headcount activity, as well as an ongoing partnership with our business analytics teams to refine and improve our capacity planning models. This role will also lead the initiative to build out business lever cost modeling, which will ensure business decisions are data-informed.
This critical role is part of the Global Support Business Operations & GTM team and reports directly to the Director, BizOps & GTM, Support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in annual capacity and headcount planning, model headcount scenarios to meet the needs of both the business and Snowflake customers, and drive an efficient customer facing resource acquisition strategy year-over-year.
Partner with existing workforce management teams to understand our global workforce requirements, and help build a long-term facilities strategy that is aligned with the needs of the business.
Coordinate centralized recruiting activities for Global Support.
Develop scalable solutions, work to manage risks across the organization and develop best practices to benefit the organization.
Act as a back-up for monthly budget reforecasts, in coordination with cross-functional stakeholders.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in a business or finance field or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of experience with workforce management/department budget management
3+ years of experience in a Support organization
Demonstrated ability to identify and solve abstract problems quickly with some management guidance
Knowledge of best practices in business operations, service operations, and customer support operations.
Highly organized and self-motivated individual with a strong attention to detail
Comfort in the ambiguity of changing priorities and flexibility to new ideas within a fast-paced environment
Experience negotiating contracts and terms in partnership with legal, sales, and services stakeholders
Curiosity about how things work, with the ability to anticipate problems, identify, and help drive areas for improvement.
Experience building trusted advisor relationships with senior management.
High levels of emotional intelligence (EQ), empathy, proactivity, and the ability to advocate for both customers and internal teams alike, continuously striving for mutually beneficial solutions.
Understanding of Data Warehouse fundamentals and concepts.
