We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Project Engineer in Black Utilities to join our existing team to work on a number of key projects.
Responsibilities All aspects of HVAC design and managementDeveloping design briefsLoad and system calculationsHVAC system modellingHydraulic analysis of air and water systemsConceptual and detailed design of HVAC systemsDevelopment of system schematics through all design stagesProduction of engineering designs, drawings, and documentsSpecification writingBuilding Management Systems – development of systems architecture, specifications, controls strategies, sequence of operations through all design stages Qualifications Primary Degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering (MBO,MTS,LTS)A proven experience systems design8-10 years building design experience within hi tech industry projectsKnowledge and experience around commercial factors and aspects including estimating services and purchases, vendor bid analysis and project controls.Self-motivated and organised, taking a pro-active approach to tasks and commitments.Strong methodical and analytical approach with an ability to meet deadlines.Reliable, consistent and quality approach to work.Demonstrable ability to play a positive role in multi-discipline teams.Professional approach and demeanour. A strong ethical approach to safety, quality, environmental protection and business.Demonstrable ability to communicate effectively with clients and peers at all levels, with good presentation skills.A flexible approach and willingness to self-educate to meet current standards and technologies required by the given project industry sector.
