The BlackArch Data Management & Marketing Specialist is responsible for effectively and professionally supporting the organization’s efforts with respect to marketing support and research, data quality, reporting and marketing analytics.

Responsibilities

Manages and maintains the entry and updates of key marketing and business development data in Salesforce, using a variety of sources (e.g., CapIQ, Pitchbook, and marketing announcements)

Develops and maintains reporting and dashboard functions as well as business intelligence analytics using PowerBI

Provides client research for various business segments (e.g., compiling lists of debt providers for middle-market companies and maintaining and prioritizing institutional investor lists)

Prepares and analyzes period reports on marketing initiatives, analyzing and synthesizing data as warranted

Creates and updates marketing materials (marketing decks, one-pagers, etc.) and creates information packets for meeting preparation (tear sheet information, deals sold to / sold for, pitches won / lost, portfolio company targets, summary of all recent interactions, etc.)

Oversees the creation of buyer’s lists (for pitches and deal launches)

Assists with client prioritization, follow-up, and meeting preparation

Identifies solutions for improved efficiencies and capabilities of the CRM

Performs periodic website updates, ensuring data is correlated with internal CRM, as well as collaborating with the director of marketing to post various content initiatives

Engages with high-level stakeholders to understand business strategies and needs related to advanced analytics, and translates requirements into captivating, effective material

Evaluates complex business issues and presents solutions based on data, as well as information design and visualization

May assist in training and/or guiding other team members with less experience

May lead special projects as assigned by management

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field

Seven (7) years of Salesforce System Administration experience

Preferences

Seven (7) years of experience in a large, complex banking organization in a marketing analysis role

Experience in investment banking or private equity a plus

Experience with multiple CRM systems

Experience using data visualization tools such as PowerBI

Skills and Competencies

Ability and willingness to take initiative, assume responsibility, and drive results

Ability to balance technical skills with business savvy

Advanced user of Excel, capable of efficiently and effectively working with large amounts of data

Excellent people skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Self-motivated and adaptable to changing situations and requirements

Strong organizational and analytical skills; must be detail-oriented

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$105,822.83 USD

Median:

$149,079.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in a discretionary incentive plan. Employees have the potential to receive a discretionary award based on performance against defined metrics and goals.
