Position Overview
The RTR Blackline System Analyst will be responsible for performing Blackline Global System Admin activities related to the reconciliations, journals and Task modules. The main objective of this role is to maintain the quality and accuracy of Blackline's master data while also providing support to the RTR team in effectively using the tool.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support to the end users acting as Blackline SME for Blackline functionality questions and issues.
Blackline Change requests such as user access management and master data changes.
Drive data quality reviews and work along with the RTR Team to improve it.
Maintain Blackline SOX IT compliance by performing system controls according to the Thermo Fisher standards.
Provide Global Blackline Trainings to existing and new users.
Support all implementations and improvements of Blackline modules (reconciliation, journals, and task).
Education, Experience & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting or Finance with minimum of 2 years of experience within RTR roles
Proficient in English
Experience with different ERPs (SAP, JDE, Oracle) and Intermediate to Advanced PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
Experience working in a shared service center and global organizations.
End user experience in Blackline or any other reconciliation tool.
Experience as Blackline Administrator and Blackline implementations is required
Analytical and problem- solving skills.
