Blackstone Infrastructure is an active investor across energy, transportation, digital infrastructure and water and waste infrastructure sectors. We seek to apply a long-term buy-and-hold strategy to large-scale infrastructure assets with a focus on delivering stable, long-term capital appreciation together with a predictable annual cash flow yield. Job Description:
Blackstone Infrastructure makes long-term private equity investments across the transportation (e.g., ports, airports, roads, railways), digital infrastructure (e.g., data centers, fiber companies, cell towers), energy infrastructure (e.g., renewables and utilities), and water/waste sectors. Blackstone Infrastructure has a lean investment team and is looking for proactive, driven candidates who are seeking a role where they can have an outsized impact at large scale. Associates will have the opportunity to work across all Blackstone Infrastructure strategies.
Responsibilities:
Blackstone Infrastructure offers Associates the opportunity to have a traditional private equity associate experience in a fast-growing sector with the added benefit of increased exposure to value creation. Associates will play critical roles in the acquisitions of both new platform investments and add-ons as well as value creation within Blackstone Infrastructure’s portfolio of marquee infrastructure investments. Associates will work directly with analysts and senior investment and asset management professionals within the Fund.
Blackstone Infrastructure’s marquee platform investments include: 1) QTS, North America’s largest and fastest growing data center operator ($10Bn privatization), 2) Invenergy, the largest private renewables developer in the US, 3) Mundy’s, the world’s largest global toll road network and a leading airport operator, which we believe was the largest European LBO in history (€50Bn TEV), among many others.
The team contains investment professionals with a broad set of professional backgrounds, across generalist private equity and infrastructure investing, and prides itself on its transparent and collegial culture.
Qualifications:
Blackstone seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors. The successful candidate should have:
At least 2 years of relevant work experience in investment banking or private equityExperience in analyzing financial statements and conducting due diligenceExceptionally strong financial modeling skillsStrong organizational and process management skillsEffective communication skills, a demonstrated ability to write effectivelyA desire to work in a team environment, and the ability to think and work independently

Expected annual base salary range:
$140,000 - $140,000Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
