Job Description Summary:
 

Join our dynamic Blade Services team as a Blade Leader, where you will be at the forefront of managing both operational and commercial aspects of our value stream organization. Your leadership will be pivotal in achieving productivity targets and ensuring that all blade repair processes are executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team with at least 3 years of experience in blade service leadership.

Utilize your expertise in composite manufacturing and knowledge of composite parts and molding systems to enhance operations.

Demonstrate exceptional leadership and staff management abilities.

Exhibit analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to address blade-related issues.

Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to meet their expectations.

Perform and oversee composite blade repairs following specified instructions.

Prepare detailed service documentation and reports, including repair details.

Ensure compliance with EHS requirements and adhere to customer site rules, company regulations, policies, and procedures.

Conduct periodic blade inspections as per GE Vernova guidelines.

Maintain continuous engineering communication regarding blade issues.

Follow up on all blade and composite parts of wind turbine generators, both internally and externally.

Oversee ongoing root cause analyses and organize blade repairs and teams by following proper procedures.

Exhibit strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with excellent report preparation capabilities.

Make informed decisions under pressure, demonstrating commercial and business acumen.

Utilize knowledge of telecommunication equipment to optimize and coordinate the full order cycle.

Monitor and improve quality, costs, and efficiency through data analysis and performance assessments.
 

Qualifications / Requirements:

Proven experience in leading blade operations and hands-on repair expertise.

Familiarity with GE digital tools such as Lifespan, ServiceNow, Oracle, and Smartsheet.

Valid GWO BST and ART module certifications, along with confined space training certification.

Team leadership experience with the willingness to travel extensively, including international travel.

Ability to work in confined spaces and under time constraints.

Strong communication skills and basic commercial knowledge.

Proficiency in MS Office, Oracle applications, and E-Service.

A structured and analytical working approach, with a high degree of flexibility.

Fluency in English, both oral and written.
 

Desired Characteristics:

Licensed driver.

Experience in multicultural environments.

Familiarity with workplace safety and environmental factors.

Ability to promote and achieve team-oriented goals.

Proficiency in data analysis and computer tools.

Experience in wind services field operations and the wind turbine industry or composite repair.
