Manpower in Huntington, WV is seeking a Blade Press Operator for a client in the tri-state area. **Job Description:** As a Blade Press Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of our blade press machines to manufacture precision products. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining the press equipment while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. You’ll work closely with our production team to meet production goals and uphold the high standards of quality our customers expect. **Key Responsibilities:** + Set up and operate blade press machines to produce components according to technical specifications. + Ensure the correct materials, dies, and tooling are used for each job. + Monitor production quality and adjust settings as needed to maintain consistent output. + Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the equipment. + Follow safety procedures and ensure the work environment is clean and safe. + Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production schedules. + Conduct quality checks and inspect finished products for defects. + Work collaboratively with team members and report any issues to supervisors. **Qualifications:** + Previous experience operating blade presses or similar machinery in a manufacturing setting is preferred. + Must be able to read and understand a measuring tape + Strong understanding of safety standards and machinery operation. + Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products. + Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. + Strong communication and teamwork abilities Candidates must be willing to submit to and meet the requirements of a background check and pre-employment drug testing.
