THE WORK

As a Continuous Improvement Associate for Blades Operations, you will be instrumental in driving efficiency and cost-effectiveness across the organization. Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting all aspects of Continuous Improvement, including Cost Reduction Initiatives (CRI), the Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), and the Manufacturing Operating Framework (MOF).
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and sustain continuous improvement strategies, such as visual management techniques, that align with program cost objectives.
Cultivating a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization by identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
Supporting the pilot program of the Continuous Improvement Framework within Sikorsky and scaling its adoption.
Executing daily Continuous Improvement tasks, including visual management, value stream mapping, and strategies to enhance throughput and efficiency.
Driving the adoption of the Sikorsky Operating Framework to standardize processes and boost productivity in the Blades Product Center.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree, Master degree preferred, or equivalent experience/combined education
A minimum of 4+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing environment.
Able to manage multiple priorities and be flexible.
Must be able to participate in a team and manage/resolve issues as they arise.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills for use at all levels of the organization.
Desired Skills:
MS Project Experience
Previous Continuous Improvement experience
Previous Sikorsky experience
Previous JIRA experience preferred
Ability to act as a Change Agent

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
