Job Title: Blanchard Grinding Operator or Rotary Grinding

Job Description

Operate a Blanchard Grinding machine to efficiently remove material to a customer's specified thickness, flatness, and parallelism. The position will include the use of a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer. Lifting of parts weighing 50 lbs. or less is required. The role also involves blueprint reading, forklift operations, overhead crane operation, and math skills.

Work Environment

2nd Shift: 2:00pm-10:30pm, Monday - Friday. There are opportunities for overtime, with potential 10-hour workdays. The environment is not climate controlled but has large doors that create a draft. It is a steel environment, which can be loud and dirty. Steel-toed boots, jeans, and weather-appropriate shirts are required. Uniforms are provided after 3 weeks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00
