**Blasting Technician – Special Process Team** **Location** : Charlotte, NC **Pay** : $20 - $22 per hour (based on experience) **Shift** : 3:45 PM to 2:15 AM (Night Shift) As a **Blasting Technician** , you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring everything from grit blasting to shot peening runs smoothly and efficiently. With minimal supervision, you’ll assist in preparing and processing components to perfection. If you’ve got the skills and are eager to learn, this is your opportunity to shine! **What You’ll Be Doing:** + **Grit Blast Components** : Remove coatings like TBC, Bond Coat, and more before inspection or repair. + **Operate Blasting Equipment** : Use manual, automatic, and walk-in blast machines, adjusting settings as needed. + **Move & Transport Parts** : Help get components in and out of machines using forklifts or other equipment. + **Maintenance & Cleaning** : Keep blasting machines in top condition, perform minor repairs, and replenish materials. + **Safety First** : Follow all safety protocols, wearing protective gear, including full hooded respirators when needed. + **Training & Team Support** : Help train new employees and share your blasting wisdom with the team. **What We’re Looking For:** + **Experience** : 1 year of hands-on blasting experience, with a solid understanding of metal materials and blast media. + **Skills** : Able to read and follow instructions, perform basic math, and use tools effectively. + **Physical Stamina** : This is a hands-on job that involves lifting, bending, stretching, and using mechanical tools. + **Safety Minded** : You’ll need to work carefully with chemicals and heavy equipment, so safety goggles, shoes, and gear are a must! + **Team Player** : Be ready to pitch in and work alongside skilled teammates. **Ready to Join Us?** If you’ve got the grit and drive to succeed, we want to hear from you!
