**What You'll Be Doing**
+ Assist with the preparation and detonation of explosives.
+ Work from a man basket at heights of up to 50 feet.
+ Use a variety of hand and power tools.
+ Handle and transport explosives safely.
+ Perform routine maintenance and inspections of blasting equipment.
+ Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
+ Support the blasting team with various tasks as needed.
**What Are We Looking For**
+ Ability to handle and transport explosives safely.
+ Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
+ Physical capability to handle the demands of the job.
+ Ability to work a variable and flexible schedule.
+ Flexibility to work in various weather conditions.
+ Physical capability to handle the demands of the job including standing, sitting, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 75 pounds as when as other physical demands.
**Conditions of Employment**
+ Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
+ Ability to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms background check
+ Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
**Work Environment**
+ Role operates primarily in an underground mine where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment and elevated noise level.
