Responsibilities

 

Understand and comply with all applicable internal CPI /Lubrizol and external health, safety, security, and environmental policies.  Follow established procedures as described in ISO-9001 and RC-14001 Blend, package, and ship quality products in compliance with Quality and HSES Standards set in place by CPI and Lubrizol Print and complete Batch sheets in   -- SAP transactions Follow detailed blend recipes Safely perform operating tasks using a variety of chemical processing equipment. Organize work to meet multiple tasks Load and Unload bulk raw materials from tanker trucks and ISO containers– SAP transactions Package material into containers (pails, drums, totes, etc.) Prepare and ship samples for lab analysis Pull orders and label appropriately Ability to perform physical labor (drum and pail material handling as well as lift chemical hoses) Leasding role in keeping warehouse clean and organized -- 5S philosophies Maintain clean appearance of tanks, scales and all facility resources Supporting role maintaining pumps, hard lines, meters, mixers, air compressors, forklifts and other equipment Supporting role calibrating meters and adjust calibration if necessary. Operate forklift in a safe manner Supporting role with cycle counts and physical inventory Ensure appearance of products being shipped meet CPI’s as well as our customers’ expectations

 

 

 

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications

 

High school graduate or equivalent Basic math and reading skill Good computer skills Ability to read and interpret work instructions

 

CONSIDERED A PLUS:

Previous forklift Knowledge of chemistry and chemical hazards Knowledge of pumping operations, tank operations, and filtration equipment Previous experience in a team-based work environment Mechanical aptitude Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office 5S experience

Working Conditions

 

Requires use of appropriate PPE, Personal Protective Equipment, to fulfill safety requirements Physically able to move drums weighing up to 450 lbs. with proper equipment
Ability to lift 70 lbs Ability to stand for long periods Comfortable working at moderate heights (ladders, lift, scaffolding) Willing to work overtime, if needed
Willing to work evenings and weekends if needed
