**Job Title: Blender Operator** **Job Description** Join our team as a Blender Operator and play a pivotal role in the production of high-quality resin. In this position, you will be responsible for the entire blending process which includes staging, prepping, loading, mixing, cooking, sampling, testing, and offloading the finished product. You will also operate a sit-down forklift and ensure the smooth functioning of machinery and reactors. Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to safety protocols is essential. Timely execution of tasks and effective communication of any issues to the Team Lead is crucial. You'll be involved in cross-departmental assistance, performing various tests, and undertaking maintenance tasks during downtime. This contract-to-hire opportunity is set in a dynamic work environment and offers a chance to become an integral part of our manufacturing operations. **Responsibilities** + Manage the entire blending process including staging, prepping, loading, mixing, cooking, sampling, testing, and offloading the finished product. + Operate a sit-down forklift and ensure the smooth functioning of machinery and reactors. + Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety protocols. + Effectively communicate any issues to the Team Lead. + Assist cross-departmentally and perform various tests. + Undertake maintenance tasks during downtime. + Commit to producing environmentally safe products and maintaining quality standards. **Essential Skills** + Experience in manufacturing required; experience in blending, mixing, or compounding preferred. + Physical strength and stamina to stand, walk, and lift for long periods (up to 50 lbs). + Ability to work safely and independently. + Ability to work all days of the week, including weekends. + High School Diploma or GED. + Ability to read, write, and understand English. + Willingness to shave to meet respirator requirements. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in chemical manufacturing, extrusion processes, or injection molding processes is beneficial. + At least 1 year of Blender experience preferred. **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive benefits including vision, dental, disability, and life insurance available from the first day. The manufacturing environment is large and not temperature-controlled, being hot in the summer and mild in the winter, particularly near large kilns. We offer 1st and 2nd shift schedules on a 2-3-2 rotating basis, averaging 42 hours per week. Safe footwear and appropriate clothing are part of the dress code, with a range of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided and mandatory in certain areas. Opportunities for overtime are available once trained, with no mandatory overtime. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MOORESVILLE, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
