As a Communication Manager you’ll get to:
Develops, executes, and measures the effectiveness of strategic public relations and special events to support the company’s collection goals. Oversee the communication in the assigned region, providing feedback as a part of the national communications strategy. Cultivate and nurture relationships with the media to facilitate organization’s media and public relations objectives. Serve as a primary spokesperson and coordinate media contact and communications with other spokespersons in the organization as appropriate. Recruit, develop and leverage community-based committees and contacts to assist with awareness, networking, outreach, and collaboration. Manage events for donor and coordinator recognition, and blood donation events.Knowledge/ Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations or Marketing preferred.Knowledge of the basic principles of marketing and communications required.Licenses/ Certifications
Valid in–state driver’s license required.Experience
Four years related experience required.Two years supervisory experience preferred.
