Our two campuses in Methuen and Haverhill have a total of 320 beds and we are a full service, acute care hospital offering comprehensive inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatient care, and 24/7 emergency services. We have three behavioral health units, cardiac telemetry, and critical care service lines. Position Summary: Blood Bank Supervisor- FT 40 hour days  

We are currently seeking a Blood Bank Supervisor to provide leadership for all technical, clinical, regulatory, financial and administrative aspects of Transfusion Service in order to provide highest quality care possible.

Responsibilities include development of guidelines for quality control, quality improvement activities, maintenance of procedure manuals, budget preparation, employee training & competency, as well as scheduling.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with at least five years’ experience in Transfusion Services as a technologist. Supervisory experience preferred. National certification required: MT (ASCP), SBB preferred.
