Key Responsibilities:

Support in coordination and organizing the implementation of the BMZ funded project
Support BMZ’s project Manager in implementation of the designed project’s activities in the field. Support in the timely and quality spending of budget in compliance with budget timelines and plans and in full coordination with BMZ’s project manager. Conduct field-monitoring visits to the different activities in coordination with the BMZ’s project manager. Provide logistical and procurement support needed for the activities’ implementation as required and instructed by BMZ’s manager Participate in the regular project update with Support office and partners. Monitor the progress of project partner against agreed-upon timeliness and milestones, and ensure that the work delivered by the project partner meets the required standards and is consistent with project objectives.

Support in managing the procurement and financial aspects of the BMZ funded project
Collaborate with the project manager to identify procurement needs, plan purchases and develop procurement plans. Collaborate with the project manager to solicit bids or quotations, and evaluate proposals. Monitor contract and consultant performance and resolve any issues that may arise. Work with project manager to monitor and track expenses to ensure adherences to budgetary constraints. Review invoices from vendors, contractors and consultants/ Ensure accurate and timely payment. Prepare payments and all related supportive documents when needed.

Support in the project Communication, Monitoring and Evaluation
Assist MEAL staff in the collection of project data based on the set tools and in alignment with the M&E plan. Assist in data collection and compiling for the regular reporting following the schedule agreed upon with the support office and donor. Communicate existence and use of community feedback mechanisms Support in preparing communication materials in adherence with the existing communication plan and in coordination with the communication specialist and project manager. Support in the data collection for the baseline and endline of project, including reviewing both reports. Support the MEAL staff in responding to media inquiries, facilitating interviews and creating visual materials.

Participate in the life of World Vision Jerusalem-West Bank – Gaza Respect and promote organizational values and mindsets. KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Natural Resource Management, Agriculture or a related field.Relevant experience in environmental project management, including implementation and monitoring.Understanding of environmental regulations, climate change issues and sustainable development practices.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey environmental concepts to diverse audiences.Experienced in data collection and reporting.Experience in project management cycle.Strong communication and analytical skillsSolid knowledge in Microsoft Office and other applicationsGood Command of Spoken and written EnglishArabicEnglish (writing, speaking)Have a valid driving licenseCORE COMPETENCIES
